I had the MOST fun reinventing my office space. If you had ever been to my home before you’ll remember it used to be FULL of odds and ends of furniture, crafts, storage, unorganized gear etc. I honestly wish I would have taken a before picture so you can envision the mess even better – but of course in true Lindsey fashion, I forgot.

Praise the Lord for Wheaton Moms (a local Facebook page — think of it as craigslist without the creepiness) because I sold ALL of the stuff in my office and it pretty much covered all my new Ikea purchases. When I thought of my new office design I knew I wanted a CLEAN, inspiring space that was my slice of heaven. I now look at it and see the perfect marriage of modern, farmhouse, and glam style — which is my esthetic to a T! So here’s the breakdown of what went into this space:

-DESK: Ikea, $40/each leg + $30 tabletop (It’s no secret Ikea is one of my favorite stores – but their office furniture selection is seriously off the charts — SO many combinations for SO cheap.) It was an added bonus that my camera bag + Holdfast Money Maker strap fit perfectly on display underneath!

-CHAIR: Ikea, $20 swivel chair, spray painted the bottom gold + I threw a Home Goods white faux rug over it

-GLAM STATION: All Ikea, the left leg was $15 + spray painted gold, $9 tabletop, $80 drawer chest, + makeup mirror was from ebay! I was very adamant about creating a glam station in my babe cave. Moms NEED stuff like this, ok?! My wedding shoes are also displayed on the shelf from Target!  I’ve always had these in my storage with the hopes of putting them into a super glam dressing room someday! They’re the perfect addition to my room :)

-CHEST ON WHEELS: Ikea, $120 storage unit  (I keep all my memory cards, batteries, planners, desk supplies in here)

– WALL DISPLAY SHELF: Ikea, $7 for the white shelf, $4/each bracket + spray painted gold

-CAMERA GEAR STORAGE: Ikea spice racks, painted white (most of my gear is shipped away getting cleaned at Canon!)

-STORAGE CUBES: Ikea, two separate Kallax units, with $4 Ikea white bins, tags spray painted gold

-DECOR ELEMENTS: Marble storage bin: Home Goods, interchangeable letter board, wall memo board + “You got this!” sign: Hobby Lobby, beautiful painting of my wolf pack: Katherine Corden, desk lamp: Ikea

-DESK SUPPLIES: Target

-TRASH BIN: Ikea + hardware was painted gold

-RUG: Rugs USA

-PAINT: Simply White by Benjamin Moore of course :)

And there you have it! I’m mad at myself this room wasn’t the FIRST thing on my to-do list when we bought the house…I probably would have had a more organized wedding season! But better late than never right?? I feel more energized than ever to CREATE in here and be at the top of my game. I hope it inspires you to create a space of your OWN — because you deserve it ;)
