Mr. + Mrs. Venhousen

Matt + Jena were married on the most breathtaking Fall day in Chicago. This wedding day was 8 years in the making!! These two were high school and college sweethearts, and have waited a long long time to become Mr. + Mrs. Venhousen. We started the day off the at Hotel Indigo where the bride and her bridesmaids got all dolled up! Then, Matt and Jena opted for a first look + bridal party portraits in the ever-so-scenic Lincoln Park.

Anticipation built as family and friends trickled into Germania Place to witness these two commit themselves to one other. The ceremony was short, sweet, and kicked off the night of festivities! The cocktail hour was heavenly as the string quartet played as the guests mingled. When the reception doors opened, the room was transformed into a golden dream! The most incredible flowers + candelabras from Petal Play dressed every table to the nines. The room was just stunning. All of Jena and her mother’s endless hours of planning paid off, to say the least!! It was a joy to witness Matt + Jena’s biggest day of their lives!
