Oh my goodness, where do I even begin with this wedding?? Last summer, when Amanda called me up and asked if I could shoot her destination wedding — making it my first international wedding — I was beyond honored. I had been looking forward to this wedding since the day she asked and now that its come and gone, I’ll be dreaming of it for years to come.

First off, the venue — HOLY COW. This resort gives a whole new meaning to luxury for me. My hubby came with me on this trip and the whole time we were just in awe of the place. There’s spa music and incense going at all times, personal hot tubs on your balcony, cabanas every which way you looked, and the kindest staff — they even hand stamped the ash trays with their logo for heaven’s sake! The above and beyond experience this resort delivered left me speechless and anxiously awaiting my next visit!

Ricky + Amanda’s day was one for the books! The weather was unreal, her dress was so iconic, and the way they looked at each other just made me smile. These two are just FUN. Ricky + Amanda should host parties for a living because they sure know how to throw one hell of a bash! They flew out PERSHAN to dj their reception to ensure the music was top notch. They just simply know how to have a good time — and the bride and groom set the tone for their wedding so you can only image the energy that emulated through their day!!

Amanda + Ricky, I am so thankful for the opportunity to document the biggest day of your lives — I’ll remember this one for my whole career :) Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Congrats to the new Mr. + Mrs. Simmons!!!
