I can’t say enough good things about my experience at the Jeremy Chou workshop in Austin — what a blessing it was to have won a seat!! The first day of workshop was focused on the art of photography…and I learned how to shoot FILM! This was a 2016 goal for me and I shot my first roll during the style shoot! I can’t tell you how awesome it felt. I’ll consider this wedding season a success if I can confidently implement shooting film into parts of the day…making me a HYBRID photographer! I edit with Mastin Labs which is the closest you can get to making digital have the same look as film — but I crave my images to have the TRUE buttery-ness (is that even a word?) of film. I can’t wait to continue perfecting my craft.
So part of the first day we did a huge stylized shoot– all made possible by the vendors listed at the bottom! It was UNREAL. We had stations to rotate through with our small groups so we could pose the models the way we wanted. This is just part I with an adorable couple who is engaged + in love (for real!) which always makes our job easier! Part II will be much longer with the professional models and styled table scape! So stay tuned for that ;)
