This past Saturday we had Brady’s FIRST friends birthday party! Being obsessed with all things super-heros, I decided on the theme of “A Super-hero Training Academy” party. We had 12 6-year-olds over — and boy was it madness. There were lots of games “testing” their super-hero abilities. We had a Thor’s hammer throw, nerf gun shooting range, precision M&M straw sucking game, egg on spoon race, balloon tied to your ankle and last one standing with an un-popped balloon wins, and (the crowd favorite) Hulk ice-cream cone smashing. You know…..all games required to become a superhero ;)

The weather was a little chilly so we didn’t last as long as I had hoped outside, so we moved inside for pizza, dessert, a little march madness, and some running around the house!

The last game was the balloon tied to your ankle and it was hilarious.

I took a 3 HOUR nap after the 12 6-year-olds left but it was so worth it because Brady kept saying “This is the best day ever!!” Until next year…..!
